Fleet Management System

Fuel Services

The LeaseWave fleet management system has extensive functionality aimed at comprehensively managing fuel services. Within the fleet management solution, fuel usage information is stored against each unit, and may be updated on a manual or an automated basis, through a file feed. LeaseWave is capable of integrating with industry standard systems that generate fuel files listing fuel transactions for a given period of time, for a given set of units. Each transaction is associated with a unit, a customer and/or a fuel card. Based on this link, LeaseWave determines the treatment of the transaction: a receivable and any administrative fee (to the customer) and a payable (to the vendor) are automatically set up. The automotive fleet management solution also has a configurable rule engine that automatically red-flags certain types of stransactions (such as, say, the second fuel purchase made on a car in the same day). These can then be used to generate exception reports for the lessee’s fleet managers.
