Portfolio Management: Invoicing

The LeaseWave® lease management software system allows users to dictate any number of billing cycles for a lease in a single portfolio. Each cycle can be specified in detail; for example, a billing cycle can have billings on the 5th, 15th, 25th and 30th of each month. Each lease is then associated with a cycle and is billed accordingly. (Coupon books are also available.)

Invoices in the LeaseWave® lease management system can be generated at the customer level, the lease level, for a group of leases belonging to one customer or even at the asset-level (across multiple leases) belonging to the same customer. The invoicing system is built to accommodate the most rigorous and complex of requirements that leasing companies may encounter.

This flexibility allows for the automated e-Invoice system which flags leases for automated billing via email and lessees’ online accounts. By leveraging the competencies of the internet, the LeaseWave® lease management system allows lessees to log onto an exclusive website where they can download and view their most current invoices. Not only does this feature give lessors an immediate and legitimate internet presence, it also saves the cost, both in terms of time and money, of invoicing every month.

A digital copy of each invoice that is ever generated is stored in the LeaseWave® leasing system (in PDF format). This allows users to create duplicate invoices very easily, thereby facilitating superior account history maintenance and collections activity. Additionally, the LeaseWave® leasing system has the capability to email invoices to customers, as required.

The LeaseWave® leasing system also accommodates for dynamically assigned remittance addresses. On any given lease, every type of receivable handled by the system can be remitted to a different address. All the different remittance addresses are centrally managed so that changes to them need only be made once.
