Fleet Management: Replacement Policy

LeaseWave® Fleet fleet management software allows users to create customer-specific replacement policies. A replacement policy defines the time or usage-based criteria that determine vehicle replacement. These policies are used as the basis for critical edit checks throughout the fleet management system, preventing vehicle maintenance technicians from authorizing maintenance work on units that are to be replaced in the near future. Moreover, they are used for customer-driven reporting of replacement schedules, a handy tool for fleet management companies to push repeat business.

• Create and manage customer-based replacement policy schedules that define vehicle replacement criteria
• Determine replacement criteria using time or usage-based factors
• Ensure, through system-driven edit checks, that no unnecessary maintenance work is being performed on units due for replacement
