Fleet Management: Exceptions Reporting

LeaseWave® Fleet fleet management software allows users to create customer-specific exception reporting policies. These policies determine the criteria through which a transaction can be earmarked as an exception and reported as such to a customer. This is particularly relevant for fuel purchases, where fleet management customers and lessees are always looking to prevent fraudulent purchases and card abuse. By determining exceptions criteria in conjunction with their customers, fleet management companies can now provide them with a value-added service that helps them control their fuel purchases and, in turn, reduce unnecessary expenses.

Create and manage an unlimited number of:

  • Create and manage exception reporting policies for fleet management customers
  • Generate reports for transactions that meet the exceptions criteria and report them to the fleet management customer/lessee. Some sample exceptions, include:
    • Purchase of fuel over the tank-limit
    • Multiple purchases of fuel within a stipulated time limit (ex: 2 purchases in 1 day)
    • Weekend purchases
    • Purchasing higher-grade fuel than stipulated
  • Create and manage multiple exceptions policies for one customer, thereby allowing certain vehicles (ex: like, say, executive vehicles) to be subject to different exceptions rules than others
