Fleet Management: Card Administration

The LeaseWave® Fleet fleet management software system gives users the ability to manage the creation, issuance and administration of fleet cards through sophisticated fleet card functionality. The system generates fleet card numbers (through the use of standard credit card algorithms) for both existing and pre-ordered fleet vehicles. Fleet card information can then be exported, using industry-standard XML interfaces, to embossers. Once active in the system, the entire fleet card life-cycle can be managed by the fleet management system, including card deactivation (owing to loss, theft, termination, etc.) and card replacement (owing to damage, unit replacement, etc.).

• Create fleet cards (for fuel, maintenance, license management, etc.) one-by-one or en masse
• Generate unique numbers for each card using standard credit card algorithms
• Create cards for existing (purchased) units and/or pre-ordered units
• Generate industry-standard interfaces for embossers once a card is created in the system
• Assign more than one card to a single vehicle, if so desired
• Manage the de-activation of cards one-by-one or en masse and track the reason for de-activation
• Manage the replacement of a card one-by-one or en masse and track the reason for the replacement
• Maintain the most meticulous audit trail possible (tracking every field of information) every time a key attribute of the card (such as its status) is changed
